What To Do When A Loved One Dies

  1. Death occurs. The order in which things need to be done often depends on where the death occurred.
  2. We suggest you contact us immediately, so you’ve got the reassurance you need that all is taken care of properly.
  3. Documentation; Some documents of the deceased person will need id. (Passport or driver Lic) Brith certification, marriage certification, Medical Records. 
  4. Corresponding  Embassy must be notified. They follow the process and help the family during these difficult times. 
  5. Located end of life plan or will locate that information will be used due to accelerate the process and respect the final wishes. 
  6. Next of kin,  will be required to complete any paperwork around the process, in case of absence a POA will be required to complete the legal requirements.
  7. Arrange details, work with us to plan out the burial or repatriation service.
  8. Get copies of the death certificated and translations. 
  9. Notify the loved one’s attorney, insurance, and bank of the death.
